So, I want to desperately SE this one and was thinking of Apple directly. I like in the UK and want to do this one as smoothly as possible. What are your recent experiences with Apple and how should I approach this? The new model costs £2,200 btw.

DNA is your best bet, but they've been going ham lately on SE'ers.

Am@zon (if no OTP) + PR
or even better, some local-ish online tech store, depending on your country.

I'd stay away from local tech stores, since they will persue this personally. Additionally, do you really want to fuck over local entrepreneurs?

Perhaps "domestic" would have been a better choice of word on my end.

Each country has its own stores trying to compete with Am@zon. They usually employ thousands of people.
They often put outrageous markups on prices, all without the convenience of natively online stores.
Imagine returning some (even so slightly) opened item in-store lmao.

Obviously I didn’t mean some small humanscale 1-10 people family store relying on each sale to go through the month's bills.
Still, you are right about them potentially pursuing harder. I love me some challenge  Evil

Am@zon's prices are insane and doesn't make any sense to go after MacBooks - so overpriced. Also I won't hurt any local shops - I am quite sensitive when it comes to SEing people who are not part of large corporations. With that said, apart from Amazon what other choice do I have?

Well I'm not from the UK but maybe you have some big electronic stores available like Proshop, Galaxus,
try to find some stores from idealo.co.uk

Anyone has any experience with any easy-to-SE UK-based shops?
