SE Ideas for Monitor #1
Hello!

I am buying a stupidly expensive and big monitor and would like to know which SE method would work best?
A signature or OTP is likely going to be required... hoping it would just be a signature so I can DNA it but if a OTP is requested I'm not sure If DNA will work.
perhaps WIR method if it a OTP is requested?

Any thoughts would be helpful thank you!

I've never done a OTP before what is the delivery process with OTP? Do they come to your door asking for a password before deliverying the item?

this is all from amazon just fyi forgot to mention lol.

i'm ordering an ultrawide monitor hoping to see If its possible to SE. It weighs 12kg

WIR would be an option. Maybe leave a note on your door stating the driver to leave your parcel on your shed / safe place. Unlikely they would take picture of the note, then that way you can claim DNA more easily. If they re-attempt because of signature. Do the same. If they delivery it to your nearest collection point. Then... WIR, l believe is best or damaged item you can give it a shot.

Okay I will try and leave a note for them to leave in the back and hope for the best.
If I go with WIR method what item would work best? I know weight needs to match but does Amazon or the courier keep track of the dimensions of the parcel?

I'm getting a 49 inch ultra wide monitor for reference.

I've never done damaged item SE before can you briefly explain the rundown of that process please and thank you so much for your input!

It's very unlikely a picking & packing error was made on a huge monitor.

Don't.

If you provide delivery Instructions, you're liable for loss of goods.

If you provide delivery Instructions, you're liable for loss of goods.

But, the delivery instructions are not stated / updated on the website. Therefore, it is not a problem unless the driver decides to take a picture of it for reference. Right?

A OTP was requested so I'm not sure what method would work now ☹️

Try and finesse it without giving the OTP
