Hey guys
So i tried doing SN method with logitech on a G pro x wireless once speaking to chat bot claiming my mouse had a faulty scroll wheel, providing the serial number i found on some ebay listing, i was transferred to an agent and went through some trouble shooting and claimed it still didn’t work. he told me to give him the serial number inside the mouse and not the outside so i panicked a bit but i found some youtube unboxing that i got it off, quality was tiny out of focus but 99% it was right, he asked for in image of the serial number in the mouse and then installed it saying i was uploading it and then he asked for the invoice and i said i had got this off a friend and he said they would have to review this internally and get back to me in 24 hours.

Sorry that was a lot but could anyone tell me if i did anything wrong or is it just a hard product to se / sn

he took this to email and then later asked for my details like full name full address email phone number which i complied and sent and then asked if i had contacted them before on another acc and said no
just waiting for a response now

Yeah the S/N on mouse and box are totally different this happened to me aswell. Youtube videos aren't the best place for S/N's especially old ones as they may already have been registered. I asked a fb m@rketplace seller and they gave it no questions asked.
