RP Scenario:
You ordered a sick ass gaming laptop from Amazon.com two before prime day.
It arrives with OTP on prime day so the reps will already be overloaded with customers.
You take it out, take some pictures, photoshop the battery to make it look like it's leaking.
You tell the rep you ordered the laptop and it was smoking and leaking after you charged it for an hour, so you threw it in the dumpster and the trash men took it away fearing for the safety of family.
Now you have to talk to the amazon rep and get a refund, what would you say after you explain the basic scenario?
How do you approach the fact that you want a refund?
Do you just say "Hey give me my money back the things defective" or wait for them to offer or what would you do in this 100% hypothetical situation?

As for my personal experience with the leaking battery method on Amazon, I had to talk to different reps before finding one who issued a refund without asking me to send the item back (they can arrange special pickups for dangerous items, so telling them "I can't ship this because the post won't allow it" won't work).
But I'm talking about a speaker, not a sick ass gaming laptop.

Deceiving them to approve the claim, Is what you should be focusing on.

No.

The way It's worded demonstrates signs of desperation, which may lead them to believe It's a non-genuine claim.
