My mum threatened to ground me for shutting her feminist argument down.

I asked her if she thinks females should be treated better than males. She said no
I said "Then we should all be equal. So feminism and BBM is bullshit.  It should ACTUALLY be about equality not getting special treatment" 
Then she told me to goto my room ;~; and not get involved.
Then I said "I am obligated to have my own opinion I'm not a robot" and she got angrier.
