Hi, most of threads regarding post count have been on the spammy side, but people seem to not care, just wanted to make a thread about it regarding the "I got 100 posts!" and shit. I can't really do anything about it more than suggesting, so here it is.

Please consider putting more content because it's spammy and nobody cares. However, benchmark threads are different, (A thread with relevant information, and your milestones on the site, etc) so long as "yay 100 posts" is not the only content.

You'd want to consider the following things into your milestone thread(s):

• A list of your milestones on the website.
  
• Relevant information about your time on the website.
  
• A contribution (not necessary).
  
• Thanking (some) people who have helped you on your time here.
  
• Conclusion.
  
• Future goals on the website.
  

Adding the things listed at the top won't just reduce the amount of spam, but it'll give you a better look on the forum.
Oh and, "100 posts" aren't really much of a milestone, people would congratulate you more if you made a thread on 500 posts or 1,000 posts.

No, and not referring to a specific thread actually, but most of the threads I've seen in this sections are 100 posts milestones that are spammy.

I completely agree with this, you'll not see a milestone thread from me unless I reach something worthy of a milestone thread. Short spammy threads like the ones you mentioned are clearly to post boost and it's a shame users feel the need to do this.

I completely agree with this. Although having 100 posts can be considered an achievement, it is very easy to achieve it. I have gotten 100 in a day, and I'm already climbing up the ladder. It's best to save your achievements wisely, and if you wish to say that you HAVE completed a certain number if posts, but it is not a milestone, it can be updated to your thread about the goals you can completed, and then bump the same thread afterwards so other members can see you have completed that custom goal.
