Refunding a Guitar using Dry ice method #1
So guys does anyone have any experience refunding a guitar? Looking for an European store that could work and would match with their return policy?

Just curious if it could actually work? Smile

What's the weight of the guitar you're planning to SE?

The guitars usually weight from 2.5kg up to 5kg it depends on the guitar and wood. Even 2 same specifications guitars can have quite a weight difference because of the variations of the wood.

I could try DNA method but is probably much harder to do so dry ice could be safer option.

Does anyone have any experience with EU stores?

Always handle Dry Ice with care and wear protective cloth or leather gloves whenever touching it. An oven mitt or towel will work. If touched briefly it is harmless, but prolonged contact with the skin will freeze cells and cause injury similar to a burn. Storage - Store Dry Ice in an insulated container.

Why Is the DNA difficult?

In terms of dry Ice, obviously you're Intending to box the company, however the Item Is too big to not show signs of tampering during transit. For Instance, If the carrier notices, a damage report will be raised releasing them from liability.

Try not to predict events when there's no reason to suggest their happenings.

Even If the carrier pays you a visit, simply stick to your story and deny receipt of the package. There's absolutely nothing he can do to prove/deem otherwise.

Yes of course. There is still posibility that they wont refund and just claim responsibility on buyer or courier. If the DNA would fail could still make an excuse that neighbour had the package and return it or even box it then.
