why do you think that adidas today easily reimburses funds when using DNA? don't they conduct an investigation with the carrier?

I'm not sure to their extent in contacting the carrier/investigation tbh. I've never had an issue with DNA, never had anyone come knocking from the carrier either. If not right away, they did get the refund t me pretty quickly. I haven't done them recently, but I suspect it's the same.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

yes, maybe you're right! but the package should not be signed upon receipt and then you can safely try DNA

I found a method that says to order the same pair of shoes from 2 different sites and then calls them both saying that you only received one shoe ... thus obtaining a free pair ... it seems good to me ... do you think it works?

lmao I love that
yeah, it'd work assuming they both don't look at the weight of the package.

If they do by opening an Investigation and cross-checking the consignment against the carrier's manifest, then the SE will fail.

but the most important sites usually do not do this type of checks .... or am I wrong? .... but under € 500 I don't think they do them anyway

There are many factors that determine whether an Investigation Is opened.

For Instance, they may not have the available manpower, particularly during the busy time of year such as Easter, Black Friday deals and Christmas. Or the cost of the Investigation, outweighs the cost of the Item. These are a couple of reasons why an Investigation will not take place.

On the other hand, If all the above Is not part of the equation, then they'll liaise with the carrier to determine the If the consignment Is In the same state when It was dispatched & received.

but if I say that part of the ordered item is missing, they should still carry out internal investigations .... or not do it and refund me ... right?

There are no hard and fast rules with Investigations- some companies Issue an Instant refund, whilst others go through the Ins and outs of the claim with a lengthy process.

As stated In my above post, there are various factors that determine whether an Investigation Is opened but rest assured, It's simply part of company protocol to move forward with the claim. As such, the majority do In fact result In a successful outcome.
