Of course It will. It'll conclude that the package was In fact delivered and received.

The reason I sent it to my neighbors was that there were many investigations filed to my address and I thought it would raise suspicion if I kept it going.

I understand about not using your very own address but my point Is, your neighbor Is known to you and vice versa hence any Issues that may arise (as you've just experienced), will be problematic.

You're better off using a drop address.

I wasn't able to find a nearby drop address in my neighborhood. How can I go on with the SE after this?

I see your point and appreciate your position.

I'd say more than likely an Investigation will be opened. If so, you cannot do anything other than wait for their response and your next course of action will be based on their reply. On the other hand, It may not come to that.
Play It by ear- wait for their Initial response.

DNA Is an acronym for Did Not Arrive.

It's self-explanatory. The carrier delivers the package, you receive It but claim otherwise- did not arrive.

I does seem pretty suspicious if they did go to tell them that they did get the package and then you say they didn't, I guess you could try again

You can use the DNA method for just about anything but because It's more so carrier-based, high value Items will most likely result In an Investigation.
