Hi, anyone knows how to write a code on how to recover permanently deleted files?
i know that when the file is deleted, the OS just deletes the pointer to the file in the hard drive
recovery softwares just looks for files without pointers to recover. i just dont know how to code this stuff.

Search for file carving. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_carving)
You can also look into the code of open source recovery tools, but you probably understand more, if you search specifically for file carving algorithms and how they work. It's not trivial, though.
