Howdy Folks, Long Time.

I was looking to see if anyone has had any past experience with RayBans, I would be looking to obtain a custom order with a prescription so it comes to around £450. Just wondering if anyone has past experience of methods that have worked or any information they could share.

Regards, Akoz

I am not too definite on this approach so do not hold to me to it,

However I believe it is PEB / EB and DNA. So you claim empty box or partially empty box. Say the box was empty and you didn't get glasses, or say you received the glasses case but the glasses were missing.

If not, it is then DNA.

I am unsure if RayBan still works for EB so try at your own risk. I don't see why it wouldn't though.

Be careful.

Ray-Ban tends to be adamant that they're not responsible for lost and damaged shipments. In terms of the EB/missing Item method, for the most part, they request photos of the empty box/case - which can easily be Photoshopped.

@Akoz, what's the precise weight of the glasses?

I am unable to find an exact weight from there website but from a quick google I see people weighing them in at between 30-35 Grams

Perfectly suited to the EB/missing Item method.

Perfectly suited to the EB/missing Item method.

Simple place the order, await it to arrive and claim the parcel has arrived but the glasses themselves were not in the parcel?

Correct.

Simply claim that the glasses per se were missing.

Had success returning knock off raybans.
The returns process is not automated online. You would have to email support for RMA assistance
this is all hypothetical.

Any return method is unnecessary for RayBan. EB works flawlessly.

In the process of an empty box with Rayban myself for my Mrs so will let all know how it gets on. Double’d up on them a couple years ago though for a refund, replacement and a voucher for fresh pair of customs as their process took that long so got high hopes for this one.
