If a user is in an upgraded group (e.g., Diamond) and their display group is set to something else (Serenity, Legends, Otaku), their rank stars disappear. This might be intended, but having them always visible would be a cool cosmetic effect, imo.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

The question lies where how many stars an user group should have. Do we base it on the rank of the group, or in the case of Legends, how valuable it is? iirc Legends had stars? But the amount was the same as the bronze upgrade. Might be wrong tbh though.

You've got a good point here.

Firstly, I like the OP's suggestion. In my views, Irrespective of the user group, I believe the stars should remain as per the upgraded members status. As a result, the color of the stars will denote the upgraded rank, hence It'll be Identified without entering the member's profile to view the upgrade.
