RTX 4090 ROG 24gb - delivered to neighbour #1
Parcel was delivered straight to neighbour but proof of delivery is a random picture of the street with all the door closed. Company will probably try and fight it but what are my chances? Willing to Chargeback if necessary (costs to return and goes for alot))
Everything you see here is for research purposes only .

Do a DNA, stay on your ground. Then see what happens!

Did you bought your GPU pre China ban? If so, you could sell it for a profit lol

Its Christmas around the corner anyway, so there is a dumb person outside, willing to buy it for their spoiled son.

No the US sanctioned China because of their AI War lol Some GPUs are not allowed to be sold in China

And many european shops sold their GPUs for a win to china before the Ban took place

GPU prices went pretty high, 4090 was 1600€ now its 2000€
Its time for Christmas and ppl will buy anything to make their child happy

I would type a heavily worded email, including pictures from google maps showing the picture they took, the distance from the picture they took to your front door. I would zoom into each door showing they are closed. Not sure of the chances of success mate but it's 0 if you do not try. Fight it like it's really gone missing bro. Save this doc in your files because if they fuck you off you may use it for the chargeback
Everything I say is just a hypothetical.

This could be really heavy for the delivery guy though. If it's proven they made a mistake at the delivery they have to pay for the item.

I agree with this when the delivery guy delivered the package successfully and you claim DNA. But when the delivery guy just fails to deliver your package/giving it to the wrong person I have no problem claiming DNA. The delivery person is potentially making you lose your product and money or making you go through a very long and stressful process trying to get your refund. Many people who aren't as clued up on consumer laws etc will end up losing their item and never getting refunded due to delivery people failing to deliver the item properly. Who do you want to take the loss in this hypothetical situation? Yourself who hasn't done anything wrong or the delivery person who was careless and failed to deliver it.
