Have any of you worked with any form of machinery, or even programed?
I'm wondering how long it would be until we had prosthetics with more capability than our own limbs.
Would you trade in your limbs for robotic ones?

No. General rule with electronics is there will always be bugs no matter how long they sit and try to work all of them out.

Stuff about prosthetic:
-Mechanized prosthesis are slow moving, they don't have to be, but there's no reason to make them fast yet.
-Sensory technology is in it's very early stages. You can't just hook a sensor up to some nerves and expect it to work
-No one has a reason to build a "Swiss army knife prosthetic" because there's no market for it.
Source: I'm in school for this shit.
TL;DR: Give science men more money
Anything in particular you wanted to know?

I've done programming. Haven't done robot programming. I wouldn't trade my limbs for robotic ones, although I might if they got worn down or something like that.
