RMA exploits #1
looking for possible ways to get out of a RMA, where they ask you to dispose to old unit instead of sending it back, back in the day blood on the product excuse worked for a while but it no longer does and since UPS now makes it ok to ship blood companies are now sending biohazard ziplock bags for the blood product

anyway looking to brainstorm getting advanced replacements and pass RMA

so far explosive in nature products seem to may work

What if you disclose that you have a bloodborn virus (HIV/AIDS) ? Maybe you can't send it back then.

What Item are you referring to?

If It's small and light enough, box them.

to be honest the agents at times do not care. they know they're not the ones who will be handling the RMA goods so they'll leave that to the facility to figure out. maybe a fake doctors note or medical results stating your infection

we can check out some forums of Bloodborne pathogens carriers like HIV or even better direct contact like chicken pox. maybe keep an eye on a rise of diseases in your area or wherever the customer service center is located so they'd be more incline to relate and be aware not to spread such a disease

it will also have to be a combination of events like the right company who isnt so hard on RMA's and the right agent

no item in mind just thinking how to bypass RMA's in general. i'm sure there has to be a list of reasons they would do a advance replacement and tell you to dispose of the item. just gotta figure out the right keywords, maybe befriending someone who works at apple or their RMA department so they can spill the beans

i noticed microsoft is doing advanced replacements right now but i couldn't find a in warranty serial number for the surface pro

dont think there is quite a way to prevent leachers apart from private messaging people and vetting them beforehand! I am really interested in your revelation myself as Im currently sitting on a couple of serials. feel free to shoot me a pm

Everything can be circumvented.

It's generally taken on a case-by-case basis, and predominantly depends on the nature of the SEd Item.

ok this isn't exactly what i wanted or went looking for but i did come across some RMA info about amazon. it seems the official position is called "return associate " and some items get escalated like sharp items containing knives , battery leaks etc

any items that need further looking into gets sent to the " problem solver " tech items don't get repaired and as long as the serial number match they probbaly give you a replacement or refund

anything with a foul smell or might be dangerous gets labeled " exception " if you want to declare a package like that one could add some extra sulfuric acid to give the good an extra strong smell. you can also have UPS label the box hazmat.

other RMA facilities probably work similar but overall it seems like UPS will ship anything these days
