Came across this - apparently for orders above 1k this is the only return option you get since yesterday. Looks like they cut off UPS to solve the FTID problem.
Dont have any pending orders atm to check - if anyone has an item they bought with the return option for .ca - please check your return options and let us know to confirm this.

Yup we must be in the same region man because they just did this where I am too. It has been rolling out for months elsewhere in the country. I played around with some orders, idk if price is the determining factor the option. Many cheap items have it, and some of my orders allow for UPS/CP still, idk if it's because those were placed before or what. Either way, it's not your only option right? I also have Purolator.
Edit: I stand corrected, yes for an item about $1500, it's only that pickup option lol. Well at least I can say I tried FTID once on Amazon. I got to it to late, oh well. I wonder if they'll also be investigating past orders of those who they suspect used the method if this change is really to target the problem. The lady at my local Canada Post said it's probably just Amazon getting a better deal with that carrier which makes sense. We'll see what else happens in the next bit.

How did you establish that the Item value per se, Is the reason for the said return option?

The person sharing this in a private refunding group on telegram said orders above 1k give this as the only option now. There are mostly Refunders in there supporting one another handling SE's for customers. Another mentioned this has been in effect since yesterday.

Thanks for confirming - I had the option of returning not only with UPS but also Canada Post in the past. The fact that neither are an option anymore and they got rid of return shipping labels I highly suspect they did this to tackle return fraud.
