Quick VPN questions 04-07-2022, 12:20 AM
#1
I have decided to use a VPN to mask traceable info on orders done on separate accounts. My question is do I pick a random address in the city/location where the VPN is set, to fill out the billing address? Am I at risk of address fraud for doing so? What if the address belongs to someone?

I assume the accounts have been created by changing every Identifiable detail?

Pretty much, yeah. (Still working on a way to get around having to use my own phone number for the orders though)

Absolutely.
You've created an account that has no association to you whatsoever so whatever happens with the address, will not be traced/linked to you, personally.

Update: So I tried ordering some items from Costco.com to SE with a VPN on my pc and with the billing address set there but I still got an email later saying the order was cancelled. Later I tried updating my address in my bank account to that of the VPN address but the order still got cancelled when I placed the order again on another account. Why aren't the orders going thru?
Do I also have to use a VCC/VDC with the VPN or something?

There are some details being linked to previous/current accounts.
Be sure to change "everything".

Are you not anonymizing/protecting your payment system?

In that case, which VCC/VDC's do you recommend? Should I use different/virtual phone numbers with every order, to change every traceable detail?

I wonder if you just need to give it some time after changing your billing address. I know it's instantly changed on the bank site, but maybe it takes a bit before it's ready to be used.
