The shipping Info and label weight are Inconsistent, so disregard It and work on the method.

What's the precise weight?

The precise weight of what? I opened the package and it contains only one box with everything inside (as I said, power brick, cable, mouse and keyboard). There’s also a pretty hefty user manual that’s 500g+. Mouse and power brick by themselves weigh 200g+.

Edit: I just checked. Label weight says 1 kg but the total weight of the outside package + all the contents is 1.8 kg. If I remove all the actual valuable objects and leave the manual, the fillings etc. I get a weight of 1.1 kg. So I could simply say there was nothing except for the user manual in the box right?

Yeah, it's doable IMO, sounds like a plausible mistake

Your opening and subsequent posts state this:

The issue is I don't know how things are set up inside the package as there's supposed to be a mouse, keyboard, a power brick and cable - so if I said only one was missing
What's the precise weight of the Item you're referring to with the EB?

I understand that, but In order to SE the lot, you'd need to DNA It - which you've said It's not possible:

So what exactly are you planning to SE?

I wasn't sure whether there would be multiple packages or not. Based on the weight from the tracking number I was initially going to say only the power brick and mouse were in the package as they (together) match that weight. Now that I've picked up the package and saw that the label indicates it weighs 1 kg, I'm planning on saying nothing except for documentation was in the box as that and the package together have a weight that matches the one on the shipping label. The package with everything inside is actually two times heavier than indicated.

I'm just going to try like that, I don't have much to lose and it's alright if it fails - it's not that expensive. Just figured it was worth a shot.

Sounds like it could work, good luck.
Just have to hope they don't claim to have CCTV in their warehouse as an excuse.

Thanks! They asked me for pictures of the package and what was inside. Just have to wait now.

The Indicated weight, may not be a representation of what's stored Internally by the company/carrier.

Fingers crossed the dispatch & depot weights are not referenced through an Investigation.
Good luck.

They just asked me for more pictures because they want to check with the manufacturer as it’s apparently literally the first time it happens. Probably just gonna drop it.

What do you mean don’t do anything? I shouldn’t send the pictures they asked for?
