I ve seen people offering to SE Macbook of the Apple Store for you and I have been wondering how they would do it. They say they can even do it when you pick up at a pick up spot so my guess would be that they would use the battery leak method.

But I never used it and I m wondering obsiouly they would ask you to to give it back to them right?
You can say you can't ship it back to them since you can't ship leaked battery. But what would you say if they ask you to bring it to the apple store?
You just say you disposed of it since you were afraid for your health since battery are toxic??
And for the picture you just photoshop it or do the corrupt file method?

Other methods can also be used, such as the wrong Item received or sealed box.

Given you've already disposed of It, you obviously cannot take a photo, so they shouldn't request you to do so.

I have personal experience with apple and you can say your battery was leaking and you disposed of the item and as long as you have the serial number they will send you a replacement no questions asked.
