I got a 64 bit version of Ubuntu running in VirtualBox, but I can't resize it to anything but 640x480, even when I'm in fullscreen. I've tried messing with my settings, but nothing seems to be working. Anything I need to fix? (Deleting the VM and creating a new one wouldn't hurt, I have nothing important on the current one.)

I'm not so sure that it's possible. I used to have the same problem and tried absolutely everything to resize the screen, but never found anything to work.

Tried installing the Virtual box addons? I don't know if they work out side of Windows, but its ctrl + D I think, or under devices when the VM is running.

I'll boot up a VM and try it now to see if it werks.

already covered it seems but yes, install the vbox addons and restart the virtual box and you should be able to adjust the screen size.

If you're running a supported Windows 8/8.1 "edition", and your CPU supports SLAT (Second Level Address Translation) for Hardware Virtualization, I highly recommend using the native VM named "Hyper-V".

I have a network of VMs running Hyper-V, and there's very little room for complaints. Full screen, mapping network drives, bridged NIC connections- all rather easy to setup & configure. I can assist with the full setup and the networking side of It.

I had same probs when I was practicing with the server version. I had 3 of them and the re sizing of the was very difficult. I found out that the graphic resources were very low.
