Question: SN method with my real information #1
Hey there
My question is
Can i get busted if I do E.g. The SN method with a Nintendo Switch but using my real information?
I did the method on other companies already with my "nearly" real infos (2 times lenovo monitor or a Acer Laptop) and I never got any trouble (maybe cause the products never were used for a 'real' warranty claim?)

I would highly advise against *doing the SN method with a Switch with your real info. I believe I read elsewhere on this forum that if Nintendo finds out, they may seek legal action.

Nintendo are assholes but for a fake warranty claim they won't bother will legal action.

As for any SE, do your best not to use real details.

Every company believes an SE Is a legit claim.

Treat It as such by not raising suspicion, and you'll be fine.

They do mention lawyers, police and legal actions in their mail as they find out about the FTID, doubt they'll proceed, mostly a scare tactics, but yeah, no point in hitting Nintendo, I never heard of anyone getting stuff from them

I always do SN claims with fake info because there is no reason for me to use the real info.
Unless I've bought the item legitimately in the first place.

So if the real owner of the switch will habe a warranty case I should be good to go?

My post purely refers to SEing the company, and not the possibility of warranty claims.
