Yes. All US-based companies are required to keep records of purchases/orders/shipments, but that doesn't mean they check it literally every time something gets ordered.

This. Odds are your info is stored, but they don't have someone at a desk looking over every order. More than likely, they have a program or script or whatever that flags some orders or can be flagged if a return service is requested, etc. Honestly, I would use a Home Address and a PO Box with different names/emails/ips or anything that they could use to track.
