I agree that the explanations aren't really good.
I.e. variable:
The variables in mathematics are different from the ones used in imperative programming languages.
And it is not a placeholder. It is a storage location for a value that has a name, a type and a scope. Even in Python a variable has a type, but that can change dynamically.
I apprechiate the work you put into it, but you should be more precise.

Yeah sorry I made this mini guide awhile ago in a couple minutes off the top of my head. I guess it is meant for beginners to get the basic idea. Thanks for the input though!!
