Problem with pc build #1
-Don't know if post in right section sorry in advance.
This is my problem i have recently built a pc with the specs
B450 Tomohawk max
1660 super
Ryzen 3600x
500w PSU
M.2 SSD 1Tb
500GB ssd
I built it successfully and it turns on and the fans move as they should. But it does not display anything on my monitor.
I installed the m.2 chip first without the ssd originally cause i did not think i needed it but it would not turn on I so also installed the 500GB ssd. It then turnson and started the same repeated beeping (which didnt happen when i had only the m.2 chip installed. And as i turn it on the Ez display led light for the cpu flashes red for a few seconds then stops and the vga then starts to flash res. Now if i wait about 5 mins the pc does boot and i can get to bios but it is terribly slow and sometimes doesnt work. Please help.

RE: Problem with pc build #2
MSI has a bios flash feature. Check the bios has the newest version installed. I always build my computer outside of the case first so I can catch any hardware problems before it's in a case. Consider removing your motherboard and testing on your board's cardboard box. Also as always, reseat the cpu and test with 1 stick of ram to start with. Try to eliminate as many variables as possible. Look online for the EZ debug codes for your board. The cpu flash code can mean many different things. It's great that you got to the bios, even if it takes 5 minutes. That's a promising start.

It's perfectly fine here.

That beeping is an error code being returned by the POST (Power-on self-test) It means something. What is the exact make and model? Can you record the beeps for me?

RE: Problem with pc build #5
Im going to be honest I tried everything ye talked about and nothing seemed to truly work i got windows running on it and it wa working fine it was just the boot time was terrible. So i went to sleep and the next day i turned it on to find that it boots normally and takes less than 10 seconds. The cpu ez led display still lights for a few seconds which then stops and the vga lights up but there is no beep anymore so ik its not the ideal situation to leave it incase something happens in the future but i will leave that to my future self to handle if the problem arises. Thanks for all the responses it's appreciated.

If you are running Windows 10, consider checking if your BIOS has a windows 10 "boot option". I am not sure what the drop down menu is called but you can configure windows7/windows 8 or windows 10 as your OS of choice. It could help (?) But hey if your computer runs now, that's a success.
