Good evening Sinisterly,
The post couple of days I have been working on a form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that I hope will one day be of great success. I am starting out with the very basics of AI, talking! The current version acts close to how Cleverbot does. It grabs the input of the human and responds accordingly. It learns from us. As of now you may be asking, How the heck is this "Next Generation software". Well the truth is, its is Not. I have a goal set for it to be though, and I am Going to reach that goal. I hope to one day create a form of AI with knowledge as vast as the internet. Then I want it to be able to form knowledge of its own based off of that.

Before I can achieve any huge goals that I have mentioned, I need to start very simple. I have created a script for basic input and output, and this bot needs to be trained by humans. Meaning, I need Your help. I would like for you guys to comment on this post, or message me if you would like to help teach this bot to talk, Its knowledge base lies in an encrypted text file as of now and is very easy to understand how this bot works. Please keep harsh criticism out of this post, but constructive criticism is more than welcome!

With that said, I am looking for others who knows how to program in Python, loves AI, and would like to be apart of this project. I am also considering making it open source in the near future so many people can contribute.

Notes for if you want to help train this bot:
Your conversation, and its knowledge is currently stored in a text file, if you would like to talk to this bot, and send me the updated text file, you would have to do so by sending the file to me (or posting it on a file sharing website). That will change once I open up a web server where the information will be stored.

Yes, I need as many testers I can find! Right now I am trying to find a VPS or something similer to host the "brain" on so people do not have to send me files when they are done talking.

Being as this is in the coding section, don't you think @Windows65 should post some source code?

Please explain as to how this bot is being trained. Is it a NN, if so what are the parameters of it, and are there subdivisional NNs?
AI is an interesting concept and I think sharing some more details could shed some light on the community.

Depending on its design I may be interested in working with it a little.

Also, IO isn't where you are going to want to start for AI. If your base is in IO your AI will be great at talking but won't know what to talk about. You need to form your base in processing. Since memory depends on processing, and IO depends on memory AND processing.

Hey phyrrus9, the source code would be provided to individuals who want to work with this bot. I have decided to post the previous IO version anyway. The point of this person trained bot was to gain a decent sized library so the actual thinking process would have a base on what to talk about. I have decided to go a different, more time efficient rout instead of using humans to train the base knowledge. I have been creating hypotheses after hypotheses on how this bot is going to actually. "Think". I have plans to study how the human brain works more in depth in the near future and hopefully be able to decide if what i want to do is actually even possible without a quantum computer.
This is going to be one of the most complicated projects I have built, my plan is to make a first official AI that can think, study, and gather knowledge from the internet. I want to create this bot in a controlled environment (Not the internet), and see if it even comes close to singularity in the end.

There are short term and long term goals in this project and i am more than willing to have others help. Thanks for the tips.

Hey iVertigo,
I have post a download link in the main post area, feel free to download the bot, alter the source, and see how well you can make it work.
(There have been complains on how the executable file would not work, so you will need the python 2.7 programming language to run this code.)
