mister atheist , it is clear to me that you never read the Quran and only repeat what you here in the media or what some Islam hater said...can you show us where it says in Quran that Muslims should kill the non believers ?

so a religion is = to human? i believe that a human is more much complex than just a ideal,iam not discriminating against the people as islam is not a race but if you base your identity and whole self with a religion then you are a fool, but that's your idea sir and iam gonna end this now have a great day and no harm feelings .

From what I know, Islam and Quran doesn't tell anyone to actually kill or hurt people, apparently it's quite peaceful. It's actually people who make assumptions like that who generate this aura of hatred towards each other.

Another problem is the media massage, which kinda helps to the association Muslim == Terrorist, which is of course completely wrong and degrading. Because a few people, who happened to be Muslim and who thought that their religion tells them to kill others, now everyone seems to think that Muslims are terrorists. But how many terrorists were there? And how many Muslims are there actually? You'd find that these numbers quite differ.

It's no different principle from computer games. Hundreds of millions people play some games, but a few dozen go crazy and kill some people and everyone blames it on the game. Because of the few, very visible cases, everyone suddenly associates these loud and medialized individuals with the whole game and blame it on the game, failing to realize there are hundreds of millions of sane players, who realize that it's just a game and don't go on a killing spree.

What I believe in, is that you shouldn't judge people by some group they belong to, like religion. I met quite smart and peaceful people who were Christians, Muslims, Atheists and such and I also met hateful, mean and generally jerk Christians, Muslisms and Atheists. So I think you should always judge the individual person, instead of using prejudices and stereotypes, because there are huge differences even among people who say they're the same religion, although their idea of it differs vastly.

Regarding the film, I think it's kinda stupid, but at the same time, there's no reason to remove it, because I believe in freedom of speech. And if it's dumb, it will at least stay there so people can see how stupid it actually is right? ;-)

What's much less nice though is the reaction of some Muslims. They were violent and hateful. And if the film said that Muslims are violent and hateful, well... then by doing that they just proved it right unfortunately. If they want to prove it wrong, they should show their disagreement peacefully and calmly, because otherwise it's like trying to extinguish fire by adding more oil to it.

But let's not forget that these weren't all Muslims and certainly there were and are many peaceful ones who took the film calmly and maturely and have nothing to do with these violent outbursts. Like I said, judge the each individual person, not group.

Regarding the issue of what religion tells people what to do and what not to do... well you'd be surprised how many religious people actually never read the Bible/Quran/what-ever-book-they-have. They just make assumptions about what's in the book (even if the book directly states the opposite!), based on what others who haven't read it say and they keep spreading this misconception around, like virus. People take things for granted and don't question whether they're right, very few try to actually verify if the piece of information is true or not and that leads to even more trouble and hatred.

So beware prejudices and try to think about what you're actually spreading around and verify it for yourself. Be smart.

true but unlike you i only have met assholes and self indulgent people that believe that their religion is the only one and which ideals and their religion is soo primitive thats sad, maybe i did stereotype my fellow member base on those experiences but even so i can say that approve of their ways to be but thats their own deal not mine so iam gonna leave as is Thank you froxxius.i really need to control myself , i can be a bit aggressive.

Even if all people you meet from certain group are jerks, it's still not fair to generalize, because then could come someone who's different and you can hurt him. Always judge individual person, not a group, because people in it can be too diverse to be judged collectively.

Thank you #Frooxius, i could not have said it better. it's just that this guy pissed me off because he talk about something he knows nothing about like you said, he read a line or two from someone that hates Muslims and spread lies and insults.
if he would open Quran and read the first line in every Surah he would find it begins with " in the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful "
How can Allah be gracious and merciful if he tells us to just go and kill others ???
That makes no sense !!
So plz mister atheist next time think for yourself and verify if something is true or false before you insult people and there religion.
