If you search (CP Amazon return shipping label)
that is the exact label they have given me

Do I just change the address and leave the barcode or shall I keep the address the same and ship them an empty parcel
I’m stuck with what to do bare in mind the item was worth around £700 and weighs around 15kg

This is not a pre paid label meaning ftid is not possible I believe. What was your reason for the return? If theyre at fault, they should provide a pre paid label which is possible to ftid with. You need to use social engineering saying something along of the lines of you dont want to pay for postage because its not youre fault it arrived late/faulty or whatever

I’ve claimed that the item was defective/not working so if I contact them and complain about the shipping label they should change it?
If that doesn’t fall through what would be my options cancel the return and re open with a different reason for return?

That reason is good enough. Now just contact them tommorow I reckon and say Ive been to the post office and theyre trying to charge me for the return why do I have to pay for the return all of that and hopefully they give in and give you a prepaid return label

You said £700 so i am guessing your from UK. This is simple but this one will most likely take 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks as they tell you to wait while they "investigate". All you need is the label boxed + receipt and your good to go with a full refund.

I have contacted 3 different representatives for customer service and they all say the same thing it’s not possible for them to give me a pre paid label and tell me I need to choose a courier of my choice
How do I go about what you have just mentioned?
