I pretty much gave up after only a few threads because I got a decent amount of hate and shit thrown my way. Im a bit better at budget gaming builds now and have kinda been itching to pick them back up again. If you wanna see them again vote in strawpoll I will provide.

Tat's pretty stupid to act childish over someone's builds. Even if they aren't the best, not everyone is perfect. I got pretty lucky with my first build. I stumbled across a ton of pc parts at a thrift store that were donated. I took a chance on them not knowing if they were even in working order. I ended up with:
Ryzen 7 1700 Octa Core
GTX 1050 ti GPU
16gb Ripjaws 4 DDR4 RAM

I know that's not your typical first build. You just do what you're doing.

Worse when you get people who do a build to impress others.. Build the pc for the requirements you have.

I saw someone on another forum with a win 2000 machine doing a budget build for nostalgia feelings...

A friend of mine (quite a while back), built a pretty decent box from bits and pieces he found lying around- most outdated and a few parts that neighbors had thrown In the trash. He spent very minimal to complete the build.

Love seeing things like that where people find old equipment from their house or family. Seen it where someone was set with a £100 budget went on gumtree etc and managed to get an old xeon, gtx 750 and other bits came in at like £101. Re-used an old case he found but bought most components. Amazing what prices somethings are from some second hand stores you can get i7 processors (1st gen) £10 or xeons for £12 - Price / performance ratio is just crazy
