Well, given one bottle Is susceptible to breakage, there's no reason why you can't claim two bottles smashed In transit.

Though, I wouldn't push It further than that.

They may ask for photographic evidence of the damage, or request the bottles be returned In their shattered/broken state.

okay its getting spicier now, im at checkout and the Perfume shop has a little option available with delivery saying that for 1 eur i can purchase insurance so that whatever happens with my package i wont have to wait for them to resolve or investigate the issue, they will be able to send me a replacement immediately. does this mean they will package it in a safer way or something? we dont want them saying that there was no possibility for the package to get damaged on the way to my address right?

What It means, Is that the Insurance will cover the cost of the replacement Item prior to the company opening an Investigation.

It will be dispatched to your address as per their usual packing procedures. But do note that If their Investigation Is finalized and not deemed In your favor, they may reverse their decision and request the replacement Item (they sent) be returned.

okay so the delivering company man has gotten in touch and i said due to covid reasons i wont be able to sign for the package, he has told me to send him a message saying that i give him permission to leave the packages at my front door, should i stay and observe whether he takes pictures of the package or should i just go out since im planning to do the broken perfume bottle method?

okay got it and got in touch with support. took pics of the busted perfume annd sent them over, they want to claim it with the delivery company. she asked me if i saw that there was anything wrong with the box and i said no apart from one little nudge and that the bottle cap was ripped off and spilt, and that there was very little juice left which i then sent her pics of. and she asked me to take pics of the box it came in but i said i got rid of it because i have a little kid running around and i dont want him to cut himself so i didnt sent pictures of the box, i told them these are supposed to be for a gift and that i hope they can expedite the process fast. what now boiz?

she had told me that thee ref team will try to help me as fast as possible to resolve my query but they wont be fast enough for the birthday tomorrow, should i call again and highlight the fact that i took that insurance for one euro which stated that they will help me asap?
