I feel like it's usually a thing that they are forced into by their parents, otherwise I find it extremely abnormal for someone to believe in something that doesn't exist ( shots fired ) and has a shit tonne of evidence to support that it doesn't exist. Well I believe that god exists, but I am not the kind of believer that goes to church, I believe that you don't need church to talk to be a believer, or talk to god.

It's mostly about faith. But some people "feel" the presence of God, or have just miracles happen which leads them believe in a higher being.

I mean, Shit, the world didn't magically appear from nothing? Some magician/higher being had to be behind it.

That's not true at all. I grew up christian because I wanted to, not because my parents "forced me." There may be evidence there isn't a god but there is tons of evidence which supports there is a god. However, if you don't believe then it's not really a problem. Just personal opinion!
