Correct, most Google AdSense are PPC and the other way Is via Impressions (number of page views per ads).

To my understanding, Impressions don't pay much at all.

What is the purpose of your paid per click. If you want to go with paid per click I don't think your going to be paid dollars per click. I'm not sure but I think google ad sense will pay somewhere around $6 per 1000 clicks.

There is not a single site that will pay you more than half a dollar per click. Websites that do offer something like that are usually scams. Best PTC I've used is paidverts, which allows you to buy ad packs and the more BAP you get the more you get per click. It was a good but confusing system. Though I'm not sure who owns it now and whether it's still safe to use.

I always thought PTC and PPC were different. But, from my experience PTC takes for ever to make any money. I've used a AdFly and coinURL in the past and I didn't make much at all.

I use adfly which is not too bad if you can rack up a lot of links and people will click them for you
