Okay, my bad, I thought you're on the Windows platform.

I haven't had much to do with Macs. If you're running on Windows-based hardware, I could be of assistance.

No worries @ all. I appreciate your willingness to help. MacBook/Apple hardware is great for running Linux. OS X the native OS is a Unix-like system. I'm not
biased or anything. I use a variety of hardware.

Pertaining to Mac, I have no doubt of It's capabilities and overall usability.

I have friends who use It and all I hear Is positive feedback.
EDIT: Typo.

I just installed ParrotOS on a mint condition T-420 ThinkPad. She runs like a beast with no issues @ all. This makes a great/affordable starter rig. You can pick a T-420 or T-430 up on eBay for under $200 bones. Just thought I'd share.

Great to know. I am going to install it on a thin client and see how it runs. Kali ran okay on the thin client I hope ParrotOS will run even faster.

What is a thin client? Are you using Gnome or Xfce on Kali?

A thin client is meant to login on a remote host. It has very low specs.
I have a thread about it if you're interested: https://sinister.ly/Thread-Anyone-that-h...processors

I use Xfce on Kali but I don't use Kali a lot. Just from time to time.

Great distribution. Extremely lightweight, versatile toolset. Default configuration uses Frozenbox's DNS server (hosted on EC2). Most reviewers completely gloss over the magnificent collection of Py scripts bundled by devs as well. Highly integrated cloud pentesting also offered with prebuilt images and Parrot's Cloud Controller. Boot an instance on your EC2 and see what you think.

If you can't quit Kali, try https://github.com/Und3rf10w/kali-anonsurf for a tasty treat that comes with the bird.

Hooray,
Poly
