The game stands out a lot from the earlier games of the Paper Mario franchise. It has a more "Mario Odyssey" feeling, this can especially be seen at the start of the video where Mario & Peach are in Peach's castle,however, the layout is very similar to the inside of Peach's castle in Super Mario Odyssey
