I noticed recently that upgraded members don't get shown on the forum team page anymore. Maybe this is just because now there are so many. Here's my proposal:

Add an additional rank above diamond, which can only be obtained by diamond members, pay to play type of thing (no NSP upgrades), with the following perks:

1. shown on forum team
2. may lock AND unlock own threads
3. can edit own threads without time limit
4. automatic IP ghosting

If I just use the format given on the upgrade page, the price point would match out to $64.99, but could easily be bumped up to $75/100 if it's treated like an extra donator rank (which would then make perk 5 include the donator award)

Pretty interesting idea for upgrading. I've been putting off buying diamond just because I'm not as active as I used to be.

Should be interesting to see Oni's thoughts on this

The forum team page isn't meant to show upgraded members though. It's usually for real staff members for users who need support.

Would you pay $100 for this new rank if it gets implemented? :O

that was the point I was trying to go for. I've donated in the past, those things are perks I'd donate again for, might as well make it a mainstream thing

I continue to get quoted to lock a given thread, when It can simply be done by the OP.

I thought upgraded members already have this feature. I agree with this too. Maybe for Gold and up?

Nope (Diamond). I thought maybe at some time this was a thing, but perhaps I was also staff during that time.

I see a lot more than you guys, and aside from the perks listed In the Upgrade section, sometimes It's difficult to recall exactly what each rank can/cannot do.

Because Oni set the prices kinda randomly (I think) to encourage people to actually be active so they can get the ranks available, this new rank should be like $20, only from diamond to whatever it would be. I like the idea though. When I first joined, I saw very few diamonds, now they're quite common.
