Open Red Alert 02-08-2014, 10:39 PM

I'm currently loving an open source clone of Command and Conquer: Red Alert called OpenRA. So far they have Red Alert, Tiberian Dawn, and are working on Dune 2000 for the engine. It's (libre) free, supports cross-platform multiplayer, and the source is available on github. The best part is that it could run on a relatively old computer just fine, yet it has aged very well , especially as a RTS game.
This project is not a direct clone, but is classic Red Alert with some more modern features such as Fog of War and Unit Veterancy. This is perfect for fans of the RTS genre and programmers perhaps looking for a libre project to contribute to.
Here's the link to the homepage for the project.
Here is the official trailer that was put together for the project as well.
