I wonder if anyone shares this feeling/what they have done to move forward from it.
Specifically, im talking about the apprehension one feels about just exactly what they might learn, whether its a particular discovery within an OSINT endeavor, or whether its a skill or tool that makes it too easy to achieve a certain goal.
Does anyone else ever feel like they shouldn't go any further, for if they do obtain the new skill that might "make it too easy" that they wont be able to help themself if a scenario was emotionally disruptive enough that it called for it?
Basically, what I wonder is, for you that do have the power to obtain any information they please, achieve any certain nefarious outcome if they had to.... how do you know that you wont use that ability irresponsibly?
Or better yet, if you did cave, what was the scenario that called for it?
