Correct.
In this case, that's how the boxing method Is applied.
Not sure if I will bother as I would like to hit Oakley again in the future so don't want to raise any more suspicion on my account, especially for the sake of £40, but if I change my mind I will update the thread.

Great news! I've just checked my CC statement and I've received a full refund from Oakley, even though the amount stated on the email they sent me was £40 less. Not received anymore emails from them but I have a feeling they're going to ask me to return the case, will update the thread if they do.

Well done man, What’s the max price you’d recommend EBing from them?

I went for the most expensive sunglasses they had.. the price is irrelevant really, they can't prove the glasses weren't in their case so they have no choice but to issue you a refund.

Congrats on the refund.
Any mention on returning the case?
No mention of the case, full amount has been refunded to my account, going to hit SGH next, rinse these Luxottica companies while I can.

It's safe to say that you won't be asked to return the case - the claim Is well and truly finalized.
A courier just appeared at my door asking if I had a pair of sunglasses to return, I played dumb and acted like I had no idea what he was talking about, was that the right thing to do?
Oakley haven't sent me any emails to say that someone would be coming or that anything needed to be returned, so why should I give the courier anything.
