Nvidia V AMD

Ok, so for the tech nerds out there you will know that Nvidia and AMD are the leading manufacturers of GPUs used in almost all graphics cards.

My question for you is which do you prefer?

While I like Nvidia, AMD is my preference. They provide a higher price-to-performance ratio than Nvidia and are just generally much better in my opinion.

So, which do you prefer? Nvidia or AMD.

Well I like Nvidia but for my new PC build which is set to be finished by Mid September I'm using AMD (7870)

I'm going to be using an XFX 7870 for my build once I get around to doing it.
My view on Nvidia is that there GPU's are only worth it if you want to spend out extra money. They do have some advantages but on the whole it just seams like your paying for drivers.
