I learnt a few things about ML, I loved the concept of learning from data. How many of you are experienced with this ?

Can you recommend me some books on this subject ?, which covers details for good examples.

Have you ever seen the movie PI? I recommend it, it's related to machine learning or learning a system within another system.

A good example is CleverBot, taking in organic data from users and learning how to respond to questions because of previous experiences. I've always wanted to get a first hand explanation of the Watson system even though recently finding the cure to cancer has stumped it and its vigorous ability to learn new things.

I never read one myself, though. I only had two AI courses, which didn't had to do that much with ML, and one course in artificial neural networks where I taught a network to recognize the mood of a smiley ;-)
