Last week, the Youtube channel "Nintendo of America" launched the trailer of the Switch 2, expected to be released in April of this year.
Its estimated hardware specs include:
CPU/SoC: Nvidia's custom 5 nano-meter Tegra T239 (GMLX30-R-A1) with 8 ARM Cores
CUDA Cores: 1536 Ampere generation cores.
RAM: 12GB LPDDR5X
Ports: Two USB-C Ports, one 3.5mm audio jack, and a slot for an extra SD card
Storage: 256GBs of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
Screen: an 8" LCD screen.
The announcement also stated full backwards compatibility with Switch 1's games.
