I just brought some airforce 1s and i brought some nike socks along with it and was planning to do P.E.B and say the shoes were missing and only received the socks (shoes and socks both came in the same box). The only problem is ive heard from some people that nike weighs the packages. Im thinking about also doing D.N.A as i live in a apartment and we have an area in the building where they put all the packages if someone who lives there is not home when the packages gets delivered which is where they put mine but they took a picture of it so im skeptical about doing D.N.A since they have a pic of my package. Could I possibly tell them that it might have been stolen from there? Can anyone help me decide on what way i should get my refund? (im from the uk and have 2 previous nike orders from that account from like a year ago and have not tried refunding anything so far). edit: my package was deliverd by Hermes

Is the package simply placed at the location without any form of verification from anyone In the building?

Yeah the guy from hermes came in the apartment with a code hes been given to enter the building and put my package down in that area and took a picture. No form of any verification from anyone in the building as far as i know however my apartment has got quite a few CCTVs especially around the package area in the building but i dont think anyone ever looks at them since nothing like this really ever occurs. Im just wondering is there a chance they could look at the CCTV footage if they start an investigation because they could possibly think someone else who lives in the apartment stole the package since this package area is public to everyone who lives in the building.

The cameras are privately owned, so unless the owners give permission, the company has no right to ask to view the footage.
