Sorry if I'm gravedigging, I just know from my reading that this machine is completely and 100% my bitch with the study I've put into the software, hardware, even the backdooriest of backdoors.
Let me guess, you went into recovery mode or what wally world likes to claim is a "bootloader" but is actually just a shittier version of recovery mode, and you chose "Mount system"
Bad, bad, bad move. Completely bricks the fucks. No hope of recovery, though I haven't tried an entire memory transplant but once you open these things up you realize there's no point to that whatsoever.
Sorry, g. You lost on that 8". DiSa is going down the toilet financially very quickly too, so whatever those assholes at WM (/heil) are doing to fix their product and put it back on shelves, they better do it quick cause people are waaaaay losing interest. DiSa had this one chance to prove themselves in shoplifting proof software encryption, ad they failed so miserably it hurts.
The cracks I've created and released around every update they could possibly put out have been perfected and finished. Nothing that doesn't use an OTG, keyboard, ADB, and the Linux shell. My cracks have been stalked, studied, reported, fixed, retrofitted, and experimented with in every state in the US these were sold in. As far as I know they've been off our local shelves for a fuck-off long time. Probably because of the crime spree the first decrypt started and the final crack completed. There are so few of these things left on the primary market around me that it isn't even fun to keep the crack from people just to watch em squirm.
