Hey guys! I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to advanced technology like coding, online privacy, and crypto curency, but I do want to learn all the basics and eventually get into the more advanced stuff. If you guys could direct me into threads already posted or help me get a good start, I'd appreciate it.

Based solely on this post, you seem to be more knowledgeable/eager to learn than a lot of "new" people.

When it comes to your willingness to learn more... I'd discourage against focusing your time on participating in online forums and whatnot. I only say that because that's what I done.
Read more books and papers. I wish I did. Good luck brother.
