Most people would think so, but text in signatures tends to lie on the rule of thirds lines - which is never in the middle. It attracts peoples attention and looks good. Look up the rule of thirds if you're interested. It's used in every form of art.

Now in CERTAIN pictures and artwork, the subject and text look good in the center, but that's somewhat rare.
