I currently own a Mac
>inb4 macs suck

I'm planning on getting a new PC/Mac in the near future. Do you guys have any recommendations?

What do you have against them? xD I use mine for development - It gets the job done much faster than other PCs

Windows > OSX any day. Plus there's much more software compatible with windows.

Very true, but the development software runs smoother on OSx - Which is what I mainly use it for. Plus the one I'd be getting is generally faster than most PC's.
I also don't get viruses. Wink

Edit: I also hate windows 8 with a passion.

To be fair, I guess it does depends on your personal preferences and needs. Ever look into Linux?

I have actually - I used to use a Linux based OS called Backtrack 5 back in my "hacking"/pentesting days - I actually really like it. Though the compatibility is extremely low software wise.

Use Wine to get Windows software on Linux.

I use a similar program for Mac.

It's called Parallels - It basically lets you run any OS you want in a little Emulator window. And it runs it really well too. I played League of Legends inside of it before they had a mac client.
