Customer support answered with this text:

"Thank you for providing the required information. I hope this email finds you well.

Upon reviewing your case, your Razer Basilisk V3 issues still persist after going through all the troubleshooting steps. This is considered hardware related issue. Hence, we will proceed with the warranty replacement process if your Razer Basilisk V3 is still within the warranty coverage period.

Please provide a copy of the receipt or invoice on the purchase of the Razer Basilisk V3 stating clearly the name of the seller or retailer, the date of purchase, and the Razer Basilisk V3 purchased. Preferably in PDF format or picture format.

If possible, could you please provide a video showing the problem that you are encountering?

You may upload the video to Google Drive or YouTube and share with us the URL link, make sure to set the video as Public or Everyone. Or you may attach the video to this email but kindly remind that the size of the video cannot exceed 25MB.

We will validate your warranty status once receiving your receipt.

Looking forward to your response."

How can I approach this? Photoshop for the receipt and upload a corrupted video file? I have no back up for when they reply with something like "Could you upload your video to YouTube or Google Drive instead?"

Curious...
photoshop the receipt and as for the video that's why I told you about finding a video about your mouse and building an excuse about it so you can provide a video, I don't really know about the corrupted file method that much, wait for other people's opinion, anyway if your problem is about the mouse not connecting to the pc it should be pretty easy to find a video, I'll try to find one for you

I couldn't find it because it's a wired mouse and afaik, wireless mice have this issue more often than wired ones, but I could wrong. Thanks for the help mate!
no you're totally right, hope this goes well. And keep us updated please!

They'll most likely cross-check Its authenticity.

Although It's a lengthy and arduous process, you're better off using the corrupted file method.

As per their response below, they've stated "If possible", which suggests It's not a necessity.

Comply with everything excluding the video. If they happen to request It, tell them you only have your cell phone as a recording device, of which the video functionality Is not working.

Update 3:

I looked up an old receipt of a store I bought something completely different from, years ago, and used some inspect element on the date, item name, etc. Made it look like I purchased the mouse 5 weeks ago.
I also downloaded a random video of scallions from the Internet lol, corrupted it fully, gave it a name that looks like it was taken from a mobile device (the time and date ending with .mp4) with a bonus (1) before the .mp4 to make it more normal. It can't be opened / it opens with an error.

I replied to the email of the rep, with the files, and constantly in a polite manner. Will update you all soon again.

Nice you're doing great, being polite really matters in razer's support

Hopefully they don't cross-check the order/Invoice number.

If so, the description will come up as the original purchase.

Please do.

Update 4:

They replied with this:

"Thank you for your email. I hope you are doing well.

Sorry to tell you that we are unable to run the video after downloading it. Could you please try uploading the video clip upload the video to Google Drive or YouTube and share with us the URL link? And make sure to set the video as Public or Everyone.

Regarding the proof of purchase, need your assistance to translate the receipt into the English language. We require the retailer name and the purchased date of your Razer Basilisk V3 mouse.

We will validate the warranty status and assist you in the warranty replacement process once receiving your video and receipt.

Thank you for choosing Razer."

I'm a little lost right now. They need a video proof, but they also need help with translation? One would say, Google Translate is your friend, but okay lol. But one of the last sentences makes me think they really want to have the mouse sent to them instead of giving me the mouse without sending something.

Curious what you all think.

Send them a YouTube video and change one or two characters In the URL.

Obviously, they won't be able to view It, but It gives the Impression that the video Is hosted on YouTube and you've complied with their request.

As said In my previous post, they're Intending to verify the POP.

You'd think a company operating on such a large scale, would use common sense and translate It themselves.

There's no direct nor Indirect Indication of a return.

What does this mean exactly? Will they call the store and verify? Or do something that will make it clear I did not purchase the item? I'm also curious why they only need the store name and the date, given that those are the things that don't need translation. So weird...

Thanks for the YouTube link tip, did not think of that.

Hesitant to email before I know this, whatcha think @mothered ? Curious about this.
