Need help with iPhone 13 SE #1
I’ve tired to SE an iPhone 13 , my first time trying it on apple , I said that the battery was leaking and it was smoking , told the agent that I disposed off it due to health and safety reason , and he’s saying I’m not eligible for a refund or replacement as I do not have the phone. They are now asking for pics to be provided. What should I do?

Why did you go with that method? I'm curious

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

I was trying to make use of the apple one time exception and didn't think they would ask about photo evidence if the iPhone was disposed

In simple terms and as an example, Apple does not require the Item be returned, but rather offers a one-time exception per account by Issuing a refund/replacement without the need to assess the claim.

If the battery was leaking when you opened the box, why would it smoke ?

If it smoked when you turned it on, if it was leaking why would you try to turn it on ?

I think you shouldn't have mentioned the smoking part.

---

But whats done is done. Google what a battery leak looks like and find a similar substance and apply it to the back of the phone and put it back in the box. Wear gloves and make a short video pointing out the leaking substance. I imagine it look like molasses but no idea, do some research. They can not expect you to turn it on. If they ask just say you wont because the one time you did, you saw a little smoke.

If they ask you to return it, agree. One day later contact them and tell them as soon as you mentioned at the post office that it leaked they refused to accept it.

Edit: Nvm, just read again and saw you had said you disposed it.

As per your post below, given they're refusing a refund/replacement, I don't know why they're requesting a photo. Essentially, It means the claim Is still active which Is a good sign.

At any rate, comply with their request and Photoshop It.

Why is your Apple ID blocked or disabled? The reason is that you or someone else is entering incorrect security questions and Apple ID account details in a row. To protect your security, your Apple ID will be automatically blocked. Apple will inform you that your Apple ID is blocked for security reasons. You are not allowed to log into any Apple device with this locked Apple ID or password. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you contact the professionals from the PriorityUnlock service. Think about it , this is the best option.
