They asked me to sign  an affidavit

It's most likely only required to move forward with the claim, but because It's legally binding, I always suggest not to sign It.

Ultimately, It's your call.

They also say in the mail that “Upon receipt, we will complete your request” so it sounds good but i won’t take the risk.

How should I go about returning it without raising any suspicion?
