I personally wouldn't let anyone have access to any account of mine. That being said, your account do whatever you want. As to know whether they're looking at your messages, I really don't know my way around Facebook, sorry.

He can even delete messages can't he? Tell him that if you learn that people talk behind his back you're gonna tell him.
And get your password changed.

fb accounts are not multiuser friendly. if you give him your password you give him your account. Theres no checks, balances, or permissions that would prohibit him from doing any thing that you can do.
id personally say fuck off... but if you absolutely want to help him out, then do it with him.
