Quote: Good luck I have never done any of this but from what I read you will need real SE skills to make that happen.
Yeah, I thought about it and I realized that NZXT would probably not even send one out, and I'd have to take it out of my computer and everything. It was too much hassle to I decided to take my chances and I took mothered's advice and claimed a DNA. More on that shortly!!
Quote: DAAAAAAAAAAAAM and they haven't even sent you the letter yet?
How old is the account?
- Bruh, how soon do they usually send out the letter?
- The account was made sometime in Fall 2020 at the latest.
Quote:What kind of history does it have?
It *used* to be transactions only without refunds. I had like 4 legit purchases from 2020 to 2021, then in Summer 2021 is when this SEing started to happen. It was originally only on small purchases of like 50$ CAD, more or less. But I guess these weren't really SE's, it was just buying clothes to wear for a month and giving them back. Nothing like claiming DNAs or EBs or anything. Then in Spring 2022 is when I started to SE luxury cosmetics for my skincare, like La Roche Posay. I'd squirt the product out into another container at home and then I'd fill it up with water if it was liquid, like my toner, or fill it up with cheap lotion if it was like a cream/lotion. I then put the original tube/jar filled with the water/lotion into the packaging and I'd seal it back up with the little clear circle stickers. Also, I made sure to not remove 100% of the product, like the toner I only removed like 60% and replaced that 60% with water. That way, there would still be the fragrance that came with it so in the case it was opened and tested, it would still smell like what it was supposed to smell like.
And then this whole computer parts thing is more recent. This is like the first DNA I've claimed on a two year old account. All my other returns were like the cosmetics method I mentioned above, or just returning the original clothes, also like aforementioned.
Quote:That's a large volume of refunds.
When did the last one take place, and what method was used? Also, are there any legit transactions on the account?
I answered that in my last reply
Quote:It doesn't matter.
A refund Is a refund, Irrespective of Its nature.
Today I learned!
Quote:Obviously the DNA on a non-OTP delivery, the wrong Item received or (packaging compatibility) the sealed box method.
Thank you for your advice, mothered, and that is what I did and to my surprise, it was all over in like 3 minutes!! Like what?? As I said in my last reply I'd go through my experience in more detail, but here goes!
So after realizing that NZXT probably won't sent one out within Amazon's time frame as one person said, and that I'd probably have to take the cooler out of my PC again, I felt like that was too much hassle and I didn't want to go through that. Thus, I took your advice and I claimed a DNA. It was my first DNA claim on this two year old account so maybe it was over so fast. I am not sure if this is the preferred method for y'all, but instead of opting for a text chat, I opted for them to call me instead. I felt as though if there were to be any inconveniences, such as the rep not giving me a refund right away, I'd be able to keep asking without them taking like 5 minutes to reply as in the live text chat option. Anyways, I put my number in, I got a call from Seattle, WA, and it was like an automated call thing. The first question it asked was confirming if I needed support for the Kraken X53. I replied "Yes." I'm actually surprised Amazon doesn't use the thing where it's like press 1 for yes and press 2 for no. Like you actually could say it yourself and I guess the computer will recognize your words. Anyways, the next question the automated voice asked me was if I am am trying to track the parcel or that it did not arrive, etc, etc. I replied with "It did not arrive." Then, I was put on hold for like 30 seconds and a rep picked up and asked me to confirm my full name. So I did that and she asked me if my package arrived and she told me that the tracking says that it did. I told her that no, it didn't, and that I checked my neighbours and doorbell camera and nothing came on June 26 (the date of delivery). She told me that was fine and she'll have to "do something while I stay on the line." So that's what I did, but I accidentally hit the side button on my iPhone which ended the call, and I was like awh hell nah, so I tried starting another live call support from the Amazon customer service page. While I was still answering the automated voice's questions, I got a call from Seattle again, so I picked up and it was the rep. I apologized to her that I left the call, and I told her that I'm really sorry. She said that that was okay, and she updated me on what she did while I was gone. She said that she has processed a refund, and that I should see the money in 3-5 business days.
Then, I don't know if I should have done this or not, but I my logic was that if I said thanks and let the call end naturally, it'd be "too short" cuz this did feel oddly short - I didn't need to provide any proof or anything. I might be overthinking it tho. So then I asked her if it does come do I need to send it back and she's like no you can keep it, so I said oh, that's great! I then asked her when I'd see email confirmation for the return (I also don't know if I should have asked this) and then she said "shortly after this call ends." I then said "thank you so much for helping me" and I wished her a good day. We said goodbye and I ended the call there. Then this morning, I get an email from Amazon saying:
We are writing to confirm that we have processed your refund in the amount of CDN$ 131.93 for your Order (Order Number) from Warehouse Deals.
The 131$ then showed up on my account later in the day. So, yeah, my first DNA!! I don't know if it was supposed to be that quick but like hey, I'll take it! Thank you again for the advice, mothered. If it wasn't for this site, I would probably have done the NZXT warranty way as I originally thought about. That's another hundered-something bucks to spend on food - or anything else.
